Attitude

Hey guys, how are you?

Behind me is a very hard weekend.

But, every day I was happy about something and honestly, I don’t know how I fucking do it. Yes, there are times when I just want to sleep everything away and when I cry because I want to be free from pain but I don’t want to go there now.

Let me tell you what made me happy… πŸ™‚

I was with my love, and I don’t mean chocolate πŸ˜‰

I have three herbal cremes for (against?) pain so I was almost bathing in them and bf helped me every way he could.

I ate an amaaazing tiramisu, it really made myΒ  friday morning.

I discovered that I, in fact, love cinnemon for which I was sure I hate. As a concequence I drank a loooot of tea from apple and cinnemon. A lot. Yumm.

I cuddled with the most cuddly kitty I have ever “met”, my bf cat who is 5 months and is…adorable. She followed me around like a puppy. πŸ™‚

It is now cold outside and it was cloudy/raining for days and it brought even some pretty big storms last week, but today the sun broke through the clouds. I loved it…

Every moment I was feeling better, I cherished. I sang to myself.

I woke up. And I see and I can walk, and talk and hear, and I am loved. It is a blessing. I don’t feel afraid. I feel like this is a new chapter and it is only going better. I know it. πŸ™‚

I am really looking forward to reading all your comments…. ❀

Weekly Photo Challenge: Juxtaposition | The eyes

Weekly Photo Challenge: Juxtaposition | The eyes

Street lights usually interfere with my desire to capture sky/clouds/sunset because I don’t live high enough to leave them behind. (Or should I say below)

It is a frustration because it is not the same if I took my camera and run across the street, or try to get a good shot, because the shot I wanted is gone.

So I love this photo. It is like it is. The innocent street light is getting in my way again and like it knows it shows its evil eyes in dark. πŸ™‚

More of this week challenge here.

Weekly Photo Challenge – Grand | STORM

Weekly Photo Challenge | STORM

When I think about “grand” the first thought that comes into my head is nature. Even the smallest creature can be grand and even the biggest mountain can be small compared to the whole universe.

I love grand photos. Big space, amazing landmarks, serenity of a sea… But what really captures my mind when I think about “grand” is – STORM.

When we feel like we are the biggest thing on the planet, nature has its way of putting us to place in less than an hour. I feel small when I have a huge site in front of my eyes, but I feel REALLY small when a storm is coming. I can smell the rain in the air, hear the thunder in the distance and feel the wind going stronger.

As if it is a command, people start rapidly collecting laundry, getting things inside or under a roof and eventually just close that door that we think is safe enough to protect us from what is going to happen in front of our eyes.

That sunshine that comes after a storm, that clear ray that is surfing through fresh air is like a hope, reborn. And we open our doors again.

p.s. I love pictures of storms because they feel alive, I can feel the wind and hear the rain when I see a good one. So, don’t hesitate to comment on mine. πŸ™‚

Do I like fall…at all?

Do I like fall...at all?

I’ve been feeling kinda sick lately… I say kinda, because I’m not laying in bed with temperature (yet!), but my head hurts so much that I can’t blog as much as i want to. 😦 Oh the joys of changing seasons, the autumn is coming and with it so are colds, flu and other gifts of nature… πŸ˜•

Fall is really depressing, at least for me… Coming after awesome warm summer, suddenly it’s raining all the time, it’s getting colder every day and sunlight is rare and slowly giving the crown to the night more and more… Autumn has always been my least favorite season, I guess because school is starting, college is starting, responsibilities are starting. It was like an old guy telling me at 4 am that the party is over and he needs to close the club.

So, I was thinking to myself after I was caught in the rain yesterday with no umbrella, what do I LIKE about autumn?

I made a list. It’s not a long one, but it still has more numbers than I thought it would have.

1. Colors. *.* I looooove autumn colors, the nature’s own decorations…

2. Tea. Fruit tea, green tea, mint tea, herb tea, mmmmm…. With lemon and honey. I cannot begin explaining how much I like tea… I don’t drink coffee, tea is my medicine. Since it’s to hot to drink it during summer, I return to him faithfully when the colder days arrive.

3. Watching rain falling. From inside! πŸ™‚ Or maybe going for a walk with umbrella.

4. Smell of rain in the air. Pure freshness. (Like a commercial)

5. Chestnuts roasted on fire… Awesome.

6. Watching movies under a ton of blankets, all warm and cosy…

7. Watching a storm. Again, from inside. Same as with the tea, I am a huge freak when it comes to storms, storm clouds, lightnings etc. I can watch trough window for hours just enjoying, watching how the wind goes through the trees and cars passing by… When i was just a little girl, I would do the same. We even lived in a place without lighting rod, but I was never scared. I have been photographing for years the clouds but now I finally have a place to put those photos. πŸ™‚

8. Halloween! Muahahahaha… It has been few years since we “adopted” this holiday from USA, but it is really a joy. We still have our own masquerade in february. Halloween is more fun for adults, no one goes trick or treating on Halloween, but everyone goes clubbing under masks. πŸ˜€

9. And the most important thing… Christmas is coming! Soon, the city will be filled with decorations and festive lights. Delight!

10. With Christmas there comes a New Year, and it seems that I love looking in the sky because I adore fireworks. This is not fall anymore, but it is certainly something I look forward too. And I wantedΒ to end with number 10. πŸ˜€

What are your favorite things from autumn?

  • p.s. The photos of city decorations are all from my city (Zagreb) and the first photo with lightning is Β from my country (Zadar). πŸ™‚
  • p.p.s I took the photos in this post that have my link marked on them.
  • p.p.p.s I made two necklaces from cotton, can’t wait to feature them on blog… πŸ™‚

Disclaimer: I do not own the images in this post that don’t have mark of my blog on them, I found them through Google search and kept their names.
