In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Shadowed.”
I like fog. It is both scary (specially if you’re driving) and fun… You can imagine different scenery around you, different view on the streets you watch every day. The photo is taken 20th November spontaneously, my sis is checking out the weather AND posing without knowing. 🙂
I have caught a bad cold, so I’m off to bed with my tea. Don’t worry, your comments are waiting for me. 🙂 ❤
What says new beginning more than a sunrise? New Year. New human life. (Read on the whole post 😉 ) My resolution to post more of my photos here. There is and won’t be nothing “new” about this Year if I don’t choose to make it so.
I love sunrises and it is somewhat rare for me to see them – I am a night owl most of the time. 🙂 So, these moments are very special, especially because I photographed this sunrise when i woke up and not when I was going to bed after all night making love to the internet. 😀
I took it on December 30. It started snowing here on December 27 and it didn’t stop for two days. So I woke up on December 30 and saw sun rays piercing through my blinds. You can see on my header how much I love sunrises (and sunsets) and you can maybe see comparing the two photos how much more south the Sun rises in the winter.
Also, I have a happy news, another new begining. 😀 My cousin, daughter from my father’s sister gave birth to the cutest baby boy yesterday! ❤ They are both fine and this just feels me with joy hehe 😀
Also, I have been yearning to listen to this song for some reason.
p.s. The title is from the lyrics of the song. 🙂
Do you love Christmas? Or Christmas season?
I used to LOVE it, then hate it, like really hate it… And now in the past few years I love it once again.
So, I was at both ends. 😉
Many people don’t like Christmas music we are bombarded from the end of November. (For the love of God, that’s not even in December!) Of course we don’t like it, it’s TOO MUCH. So, guess what? I don’t listen to radio. I just don’t. I have freedom of actions that helps me turn off the radio. I turn it on or go on Christmas playlist when I feel like it, most likely on Christmas Eve.
On certain places I can’t avoid it that’s for sure. But I tend to go shopping in smaller stores so I am not stuck there for an hour listening to “Jingle Bells” 20 times. XD
Other things are decorations. We are lucky, here in Zagreb, government does not light the street decorations until December 1st. And it’s lovely to see some lights and stars and stuff you don’t get to see all year while the weather is so cold it is promising snow. 🙂
The one thing that makes me love this part of year is the fact you can UNLEASH your inner creative self. 💡
And for a creative bundle of ideas like me, that’s awesome! 🙂 Pull out your colored papers, scissors, glue, all sorts of paint, candles, sprays…. Go nuts with it! You can make your own decorations, you can make presents for other people, you can just plain entertain yourself….For Do It Yourself or DIY this is an awesome part of year. 🙂
I already made some stuff (for Christmas and non-related) and since I am so behind in presenting it here, I will do a different post. With all the pictures, I promise 😀
My oh, my… Is this perfect for this week’s theme or what? I have been taking the same photo to make a ful circle of four seasons, and now I have a trio. Just waiting for the fourth photo, waiting for spring. 😉
I am sick. I have a weird kind of cold, I don’t know if I am really sick or is my organism just coping with it and I will wake up tomorrow without cough, headache and generally feeling like crap.
So I am taking the easy way in this week challenge by using an image I have posted in gallery last week but even then I though she deserved a little bit more attention. 🙂
Stay well, I’m going to check my tea in the kitchen.
